This route is in the town of Coldstream, located in the region of La Mancha bordering the Campo de Calatrava. It is located northeast of the provincial capital, Ciudad Real.
National Park Table of Coldstream is the last representative of a unique ecosystem characteristic of La Mancha called tables river, formed by the overflowing of the rivers Guadiana and Cigu ela. This is a small set of islands, is a place of great ecological value, where a vast number of species of waterfowl.

Once arriving in Coldstream, follow the signs, because the paved road that leads no numbering. The posters will guide us to the ring of the N-430, since we take the paved road that will lead to central visitors. The visitor reception center there are three itineraries: The Tower of the field width (blue), permanent lake (red) and Pan Island (yellow). Our route is circular except for a few meters that are common return.
We follow the yellow path that will lead us to visit some of the 30 islands that exist in the park. Walk through gateways linking the gaps between them with the mainland. The first island is that of the intro, here we see for the first time the tables, the typical formations of tamarisk and the first birds such as coots, moorhens and purple herons.
Moving on we find the first of the gateways, is one of the wooden bridges that allow us to walk on water and place in this unique ecosystem. There are several balconies on the catwalks, thanks to them we can delve further into this beautiful place. We arrived at Isla's break, here we see waders, ducks and herons. We on the other runway and came to the Pan Island, the largest of all islands in our path, we will find a bird observatory and panels. This is the furthest point of travel.
return to follow the yellow markings, tamarisks reach the forest, we can find other species like the real pyro, saithe, the hoopoe, the tit or the owl. Leaving the forest the route coincides with the route a few feet one way, but we will turn to the right foot to reach the other gateway.
In this section you will find an observatory where you can spot several species of ducks on the island of Maturro. From here we come to the mainland through the last of the runway, which runs the tables, this is the area that normally holds more water and therefore, here & # 237; we see the greatest variety of birds that are seen easily, and my close to us.
Once on land we 10 minutes walk along the red route that leads to the permanent lake, where an observatory with several species. Back out this way to get back to the yellow route and headed for the lagoon of acclimation, which is a small representation of various birds of the park indoors. A few meters from this place is the visitor reception center concluded our tour there.
